A big thank you to the PTF of 2012 for their efforts throughout last year. As a result, our school will have 35 iPads for use with our smartboards as a precursor to having iPads in the classrooms for the children in future years.
We are looking for a few new members of the PTF for 2013.
Parents are asked to let Mrs Hillen or Mr Darran Ledden (PTF Chair: 082 339 5003) know if they would like to make themselves available to join the PTF. An election will take place in the school hall from 18:40 to 19:30 this Thursday evening. Please give us half an hour of your time after the JP Parents Orientation, or before the SP  Parents Orientation begins. The PTF represents you – Please give them your support.
Cheese and Wine will be available for parents during this time.
The Cheese and Wine on Thursday will replace the PTF Meet and Greet scheduled after the Gala on Friday evening.

Interhouse Gala (Grade 3 to 7 pupils)
This compulsory event takes place on Friday, 18 January from 16:00 to about 18:00. Pupils from Grade 3 to Grade 7 will be participating. Grade 0 to 2 pupils will be included in a junior gala in the THIRD term.
Children must be at school by 15:45 and will gather behind the specialist block to prepare for the march past. The march past will take place promptly at 16:00.
All pupils will swim in at least one race. Pupils are expected to wear regulation school costumes and a house T-shirt. Boys and girls must also wear school swimming caps. Children should, of course, be smeared liberally with a good sunscreen. We look forward to our first interhouse event of the year and hope to see as many parents as possible supporting their children and their team then.
In the event of bad weather on the day, if you have not received an SMS, please phone the school after 12:00 and we will let you know if the gala will go ahead. Our tuckshop will be open during the gala.
